Policys & Frequently Asked Questions
How much does a Groom cost?
We pride ourselves on our low prices, so we offer a wide variety of packages, meaning a wide variety of costs.
Please refer to our facebook page for current pricing.
How often should my dog be groomed?
It depends on coat type & lifestyle, but generally:
- Every 4-6 weeks for clipping breeds (oodles, shihtzus, cavoodles etc.)
- Every 6-8 weeks for longer coats
- Maintaining regular brushing at home inbetween visits.
When is the best time to start grooming my puppy?
After your puppy has had all of its initial injections. It is then able to have an introductory grooming session. Starting early conditions your dog to enjoy the experience of being pampered. We are happy to discuss further any queries you may have regarding this.
How long will my dogs appointment take?
Because we offer one-on-one, no rush grooming, appointment times may vary depending on the package selected and the size of the dog.
As a rough guide:
Small Dogs 1-2hours
Medium Dogs 1-3hours
Large Dogs 1-5 hours
We focus on quality and comfort rather than rushing your pup, so we will contact you as soon as your pup is ready for collection.
Can my dog go to the Toilet during their visit?
YES! Your pet will be able to use the bathroom as much as needed, we are aware that the need to go can cause additional anxiety within the pet. So we offer frequent toilet trips & provide water at all times.
Where are you located?
Our salon is by appointment only, located at 1 Taroo Court, Karana Downs, QLD.
Do you cage dogs while they wait?
No, We work one-on-one, so your dog is groomed straight through their appointment.
This means no long waits, no crowded salons and far less stress for your four legged friend.
Can you groom anxious or nervous dogs?
Absolutely! Creating a calm, gentle environment is what we do best. Our one-on-one approach helps reduce noise, distractions and stress. We take our time and work at your dogs pace to help them feel safe and comfortable.
What if my dog is matted?
Severe matting can be uncomfortable and sometimes painful for dogs. In these cases, clipping short is often the kindest and safest option. We will always discuss with you before starting and choose what's best for your dogs comfort and your budget.

Is there any breed you don’t handle?
Unfortunately, we are unable to cater for EXTRA large dogs of 40kg+. We are not equipped for the size. Apologies for any inconvenience.
We are happy to handle all breeds, however, our Groomers’ safety is always top of mind and we support our Groomers’ decision to not proceed with an appointment if they choose to do so. This is a extremely rare occurrence.
Some of these reasons may be aggression, biting, beyond normal anxiety or unrealistic customer expectations.
